NMMS(National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship) is a national level scholarship scheme for the 8th std students conducted by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development, Government of India. It was established in 2008 to award a scholarship to the candidates of the weaker section of the society who drop studies at class VII.
