  NMMS examination conducted by State Government for the 8th standard students to give scholarship to the students monthly thousand rupees from 9th standard to 12th standard so the students can get the scholarship of rupees 48000 at the end of the 12th standard.

This exam is conducted in two patterns the first paper is called mental ability reasoning shortly called as mat mental ability test here are the questions related to mental ability reasoning and other students are asked to think and answer the questions so these questions are very easy this year so that students can score on nearly e a t and above marks easily if they practice well and another paper is called sat scholastic ability test this pepper is given to test the students mathematical science and social science knowledge from what they have learnt in the 7th standard and the 8th standard that the examination is very very essential for the students those who was studying in the government schools in Tamilnadu the question paper is in Tamil and English medium the mat and SAT paper consists of 90 marks questions each of the students have to answer for 180 marks if they are selected then they can avail the scholarship
